Welcome!

Welcome to the inter-workings of Ms. Ronayne aka ME! I hope this blog reflects who I am and what I stand for. By reading this post, I hope you learn a little bit more about me. I am passionate about what I do professionally and personally. Below I have included some quick facts about me and what I do.

  1. I am 29 years old (April 24) and I am currently a Health and PE teacher at the high school grade level.

  2. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology (Penn State University), a Master's in School Health (West Chester University) and a ESL Program Specialist certificate (Neumann University).

  3. Gymnastics is my first love. I started when I was 4 years old and began competing when I was 10 years old. I competed in a YMCA league through high school. I graduated as a Level 9 gymnast and continued my career at Penn State Gymnastics Club. I have coached all levels including Parent 'n Me class to USAG Optional Levels 6-9.

  4. Currently, I coach cross-country, diving and outdoor track. I have coached soccer in the past. I believe it is important to support your school and your students. I might not be an expert at everything but I love to see students succeed outside of the classroom.

  5. I ran track in high school - my only high school varsity sport. I ran hurdles and pole vaulted. I even held my school's  pole vault record for a few years!

  6. I continue to enjoy running, doing yoga and strength training. I would like to obtain my yoga teacher training certificate in the future.

  7. I am the youngest of three and the only girl in my family. Rough and tough with a side of diva is the best way to describe it. My family is the most important to me. They have supported me endlessly through all life's challenges.

  8. Movement, fitness and health are my passions. I believe everyone is able to move in an enjoyable and personal matter.
